In the period 11-15 July, the members of CNPM executive department attended the second course on Environmental Impact Assessment for Enterprises.
The training course has been conducted on the basis of the German-Moldovan Twinning Program (SEQUA gGmbH, Bildungswerk der Wirtschaft Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (BdW) and the National Confederation of Employers of the Republic of Moldova), established under the East-Invest II Project, implemented with the support of Eurochambres. The purpose of the training program is to prepare CNPM to develop a new service for its current and potential members in the area of environmental protection.
Specifically, this training module focused on environment related legal procedures pertaining to functioning of enterprises. Thus, various aspects have been approached among which environmental safety assessment procedure and procedure of conducting the environmental expertise as well as the environmental audit by enterprises. In addition, the participants were explained the importance of environmental quality standards at/in enterprises (MAC – maximum admissible concentration and ALE – admissible limited emissions). The last topic focused on environmental control/inspection in enterprises, types of inspections, documents issued by state environmental inspection and procedure for contesting them by economic entities.
We reiterate that CNPM considers that the implementation of a service on environmental protection for enterprises is appropriate. By the end of the course CNPM will have identified the main aspects and intervention areas to be included in its new service.
