Experts in Safety and Health at Work (SHW) within the National Confederation of the Employers from Moldova (NCEM) recently attended a study visit to the Northern Technical Academy from Kiel, Germany. The study visit was realized with the support of Bildungswerk der Wirtschaft Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany aiming on taking over from the German experts training methods in the field of safety and health at work and to get acquainted with the practice of risk assessment, documents that need to be elaborated, etc.
“We have discussed with German experts in SHW the possibilities of risk assessment, what is the approach that we draw attention to, documents that need to be presented.
“I would like to mention that Germans are more advanced and more technical in risk assessment. They approach the risk assessment per occupation. They go to every work place and see what happens there. At this exercise need to participate the employer as well, who can share some information. Compared to our situation it is hard to imagine how it can be done in our country. We have to work more in this field”, said Vladislav Caminschi, executive director of the NCEM.
In the upcoming period the German experts will visit Moldova to present the mechanisms of risk assessment within a Moldovan company.
